You can't change your name with nabtrade in account settings. Download the Change of Name form, attach certified copies, and email or post it in.
Download nabtrade's Change of Name form from nabtrade.com.au. Fill in your nabtrade ID and your name now and after the change. Sign it, and attach a certified copy of your certificate plus a certified copy of ID in your new name.
Email it to forms@nabtrade.com.au, or post it to nabtrade, GPO Box 4545, Melbourne VIC 3001. It can't be done in your online account. On the Powered plan, Surname Switch fills the whole form in, signature included.
A legal name change is not a self-serve field in nabtrade. Download the Change of Name form from the Forms and resources page at nabtrade.com.au. Send it in with certified proof.
Everything else about your account stays the same: your Client ID, account number, holdings and trade history are unaffected.
nabtrade's Change of Name form asks for your nabtrade ID and your title. It asks for your name now, and your new name, in the previous and new details sections.
On the Powered plan, Surname Switch fills all of that in for you. The only thing we ask for is your nabtrade ID.
Your title tick boxes are ticked from your details. Your new name goes into the new details section. Your signature is stamped, with today's date. The form comes back ready to sign, if you have not already, and send. Your signature is used in the moment and never kept.
nabtrade asks for two certified copies. One is your linking document: a marriage certificate or change of name certificate. The other is ID showing your new name.
Email the signed form and your certified copies to forms@nabtrade.com.au. Or post them to nabtrade, GPO Box 4545, Melbourne VIC 3001. Emailing saves a trip to the post office, and it is the route your plan opens for you.
